A message from the artist

Hello, I'm Mr.
I am stubbornly carrying on as a contemporary artist.
I feel humbled to hear that I am going to be a juror for GEISAI, because I failed five times at getting accepted by art university and still have nightmares about failing the entrance exam. Me, a juror… > <U
The world is in a difficult situation under the pandemic. But everything that matters is in your heart! I'm looking forward to your participation and presentation in the face of adversity!

A message from the artist

To realize the first GEISAI was over 20 years ago… I'm speechless. There were some I couldn't make it along the way, but I remember each event very well. I am still good friends with one of the past exhibitors who became a professional artist through the event, so in many ways it means a lot to me. I'm looking forward to it!

A message from the artist

GEISAI started when I was in college, and I remember feeling excited with an anticipation for something new to come, reading articles about it in faraway Okinawa.
I am very much looking forward to finding out what kinds of people and work I get to meet there.

A message from the artist

Hello, I'm ob. I will be a juror at the first GEISAI in almost 10 years.
I'm looking forward to seeing how people's approach to characters has changed since my own debut in 2010, and I can't wait to encounter fresh sensibilities.

A message from the artist

For the first time, there will be a ceramics section at GEISAI, and I, who used to always fail at competitions, will presumptuously judge the entries.
I'm looking forward to seeing the works that will break the shell of your future with the time and passion you have put into preparation for this event.
