  • At the family booths, we saw many instances of parents and children exhibiting together. The total number of children had also increased.
  • A very colorful booth. Remarkable.
  • This exhibitor had his figures on display displaying his figures like a shop, which was the booth of high quality.
  • Here was a special guest, Norio Watanabe aka Guitar Osho gave us one of his trademark pep-talk sermos. performed “Ogenki Seppo (a lively preach)”. There were visitors who came just to hear him preach.
  • Despite his booming popularity, Tekken joined us for the third time. No sign of the rumored imposter Tekken though. Maybe next time?
  • We had numerous visitors to the hall. Thank you to everyone.
  • The number of female exhibitors was greatly increased.
  • The budding relationships between exhibitors is another feature of GEISAI. It has become a place to exchange information among rivals.
  • And with that, the jury review began. Participating in GEISAI as a juror for the first time, Hiroki Azuma examined the art work from the point of view of critic and philosopher.
  • Our only female juror and another first-timer, Mika Ninagawa judged artworks from her unique feminine perspective.
